The gender pay gap in Poland remains around 16-18% over years. There is little doubt thus that we have to take action. It is an obligation as a EU member country to implement the Directive 2006/54/EC on „equal pay for equal work or work of equal value”. But also smart economics which will boost women’s employment and economic growth. Could Poland diminish/close the gender pay gap using good practices from other countries? Representatives of social partners –politicians, members of academia, business and employers organizations will take part in this debate.
